The 2025 METCAD Telecommunicator of the Year award is presented to Tiegan Reynolds. Tiegan joined METCAD on January 17, 2023 and has been a constant source of positivity since that day. She has become an invaluable asset to her co-workers by demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of the job. She provides kindness and patience to callers and a high quality of service to both callers and user agency personnel. She has become a trusted and capable public safety telecommunicator. She is noted for proactively assisting her co-workers when she sees a need, even before they ask for help. Tiegan is dedicated to ensuring the job is done correctly and approaches every task with attention to detail. She often makes herself available for working extra hours when that’s what is needed, and can be relied on in any emergency.

Beyond her technical skills, Tiegan is a true team player. She puts forth extraordinary effort to create a positive work environment by supporting her peers in a variety of ways. She lends an ear, provides support and guidance, and fosters collaboration. She is most well-known for her creativity and making the bulletin board a project everyone looks forward to each month. She highlights the people of METCAD and their accomplishments and creates space for levity and lightheartedness.

Most recently, Tiegan has started taking on some training responsibilities with METCAD’s newest telecommunicators. Her knowledge and her approachable demeanor make her a great trainer and adding her to the training team has been very beneficial to the growth and development of her colleagues.
