Tower crews working about 200' in the air installing the assemblies. The ice bridge provides a safe path for the feed line from  the transmitter building to the tower.
ISI crews assemble an antenna on a mounting arm on the ground.  The assembly is then lifted to the correct level and mounted to the tower. A close up of the microwave and antenna arrays.  Ice Bridges above the microwave dishes help protect them from falling ice.

A view looking west along the access road being installed Looking south toward the south guy anchor point
A portion of the rebar cage at the tower base before concrete was poured ISI owner, Ronnie Romano, right, pours the concrete for the base of the tower
Ron Yori of ISI marks concrete samples as the foundation is poured for the tower METCAD Director Rick Kallmayer surveys the site.  The concrete samples are visible on the generator pad
The building, similar to the one installed at the west site, will have equipment installed over the next few months A finished guy anchor awaits connection to the tower structure
A very cold and damp day met the tower crews as they began construction of this tower in November, 2006.  Here, we see the first section being lifted by the crane The first section is guided into place on the center pin
Tower crew receiving the next section of the 300 foot tower As sections were placed on the stack, the guy wires were pulled out to the anchor points and tensions set.  This laborious process took extra time and effort due to the wet, muddy ground conditions in the field

Thomasboro Tower Site
The building at the north tower is set into place. Looking north at the building and generator.
The 300' tower is assembled on the ground awaiting installation. A closer view of the 1/2 million candle power lighting system.
Tower crews guide the first section of tower onto the center pin Tower sections were then lifted on top and the tower stacked to it's final 300' height
In this photo of a section of tower being lifted, you can see the tower crew on the top of the left section of tower waiting to receive the next section, once anchored, the tower crew climbs to the next point and the process continues until complete The final section just as it was set into place

CFD Station 1 Tower Site
On a cold and cloudy morning, the existing 100' tower is removed from the central site, making way for the new 180' tower. The crane carefully maneuvers a section of tower away from the crew.

More photos of this site coming soon!
